First Aid DRSABC

We learnt an easy way to remember the process of first aid for when you find someone unconscious.(DRSABC)

Danger- Check for danger before rushing to the person's side.etc; oil, shards of glass, fire, ceilings collapsing, gases and other people in danger or people in the area that might be a threat to you.
Response- Stand at a safe distance and call out to the person just incase they are only sleeping if they do not wake up stand beside them one foot back one foot forward then tap firmly on their collar bone.
Send for help- If they did not wake up call an ambulance or if you do not have a phone yell help help! until someone hears you then tell them to go call an ambulance and then come back to you so you know they actually have called an ambulance and not just run away.
Airway- Tilt the person's head back to stop their tongue blocking their airway.
Breathing- Then  put your hand on the person's diaphragm (just below the ribs) and put your ear and cheek next to their mouth so you can feel and hear them breathing.
C.P.R- If they are not breathing then commence C.P.R 30 pumps in the middle of the chest and two breaths into the mouth.

That is the DRSABC.
